The TURBISWITCH GS5 with one of its associated probes or cells, operates turbidity measurements for evaluation of solid content of a liquid.
The turbidity signal is read out as a limit value (adjustable ) via the controller GS5.
Turbidity measurement is based on the principle of optical attenuation of transmitted light, i.e. depends directly on the amount of undissolved solids in the liquid.
Pulse infrared light makes the measurement not affected by ambient light.
If the measured turbidity value is exceeding or below the trigger point value, the output relay in the TURBISWITCH GS5 is actuated in accordance with the settings.
