A float located inside the tank is connected, via a set of cable + pulleys, to a counterweight running in a transparent vertical tube outside the tank, which indicates the liquid level inside the tank.
The counterweight also has a built-in magnet to actuate level switches that can be added in option along the transparent tube.

This level-measuring unit consists of a float and an indicator linked together by a cable on pulleys. The counterweight acts as an indicator. It is guided by a transparent PVC tube and follows the float immersed in the tank.

The SFA indicator is available in 2 variants :
- the standard non-gastight SFA system (open tank)
- the gastight SFA/E system (closed tank)

Smaller modules for lower transport costs !

The modules are designed to facilitate logistics and reduce packaging and transport costs. To avoid handling tubes longer than 2 meters, BAMO has developed a modular system with PVC connecting sleeves.
The standard (base) modular kit consists of a total tube length of 3.2m, delivered in 2 parts with a joining sleeve.
The basic kit can be completed with one or more 1.6 m extension modules, each supplied with its own adapter.
Finally, the last tube is cut to exact length on site before gluing.

Modular kits may be associated to:

• Standard non-gastight indicator SFA sets (fig.1)
open-air cable and pulley indicator

• Gastight indicator SFA/E sets (fig.2)
The pulleys are enclosed in PVC elbows with an anti-derailment system, ensuring perfect PPH rope guidance. Elbows are interconnected by a PVC tube (for solvent welding). Fitting to the tank is made with a PVC loose flange ND 100 PN 10/16 (other flange dimension on request). The gasket is not supplied by us.


Options : magnetic level switch
- One or more magnetic level contacts BSM can be positioned at the user's convenience along the transparent guide tube.

- Graduated ruler is made on request according to user's requirements. A drawing is sent for approval before production.

The graduated rule will be supplied in as many parts as the number of SFA parts requested by the user. For single-part lengths only, you can opt for our non-modular SFA model (data sheet 583-01 or 583-02)
