- Protection against overpressure and overflow
BV91 vent valves are mainly used to vent tanks.
Protection against overpressure:
As the liquid fills the tank, the air is compressed and exerts pressure on the ball, which lifts up and allows the exhaust to escape. The tank is protected against overpressure while remaining watertight once the overpressure evacuated.
Protection against depressions:
The BV 91 vent valve allows gases to pass in both directions, protecting the tank against overpressure and underpressure.
Overfill protection:
Overfilling the tank will cause the ball to press against its seat, closing the valve and preventing the tank from overflowing.
Installation :
Ventilation valves must be installed vertically with the arrow pointing upwards.
